Rose Rule Charnock

Rose Rule Charnock, 91, of Fletcher went to her eternal home on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Universal Healthcare in Fletcher. She was a daughter of the late Oscar Wilbur Rule and Elizabeth May Fersch Rule. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, William T. Charnock; grandson, Christopher Gilliam; her siblings, Maybelle Argie, Wilbur Oscar Rule, William Rule, Josef Rule, George Rule, Albert Rule and Jean Saunders.

Rose worked at the Black Mountain Home for Children. There she met Bill and that was the beginning of one of the greatest love stories ever. They enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends in their home. She had a love for the Lord that was easily reflected to all who crossed her path.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Beth Champion; sons, David Charnock and Forrest Charnock; granddaughter, Ashleigh Gilliam; grandson, Andrew Gilliam and five great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Universal Healthcare in Fletcher for the incredible care and comfort that they provided for Rose and her family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Covenant Presbyterian Church.
