John Thomas Papas

John Thomas Papas, age 84.  Devoted father to Leann (Brian) Cooney, Elizabeth (Chris) Buchan, and Constantine John Papas II. Cherished grandfather to Nicole, Alyssa, Athena, Nicholas, Eleni, and Sophia. Dear brother to Timothea, the late Andrew, and the late Patrick. Beloved uncle and cousin to many, and friend to all he encountered during his long career in radio and TV advertising sales in Chicago, Boston and elsewhere.  Gregarious, jovial and sincere in all his relationships, John recognized the good in those he encountered and maintained longstanding relationships all his life, including with his beloved alma mater, Northwestern University.

Visitation Monday, November 15, 2021 from 11:00am-12:00 noon.at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, 5649 N Sheridan Rd, Chicago, IL 60660.  Funeral service at noon at the church.  Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
