Devaughn Anthony “Tony” McMurray

Devaughn Anthony “Tony” McMurray, 61, of Hendersonville passed away on December 16, 2021. He was a son of the late Devon McMurray and Sue Dibble.

Tony was a good hearted man with a great sense of humor. He loved country music and was an avid NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt fan. He worked as a mechanic his entire life, starting at a young age by learning from his father. He was so little that he would stand on a stool to reach the bench, and his tenacity to learn made him an excellent mechanic by trade.

Tony is survived by his sister, Lenora “Biddie” McMurray; his brother, Michael McMurray; one niece, Lela McMurray; four nephews; and many lifelong friends.

A memorial service will be held on January 16, 2022. Details will be announced at a later date.
