Richard Ferrie

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard (Rick) William Ferrie on June 4, 2025 at the age of 81. Born in San Jose, CA on December 23, 1943. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Josephine A. Ferrie, his son Ross J. Ferrie (Cheryl). Rick is the loving son of the late Ray and Helen Ferrie. Dearest brother-in-law of Antoinette, Sam and Tony (Jean) Campagna. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Rick’s love for teaching spanned for 53 years. Teaching at San Jose State College, Westmont High School and De Anza College.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Chapel Blessing Service on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 12 Noon at LIMA-CAMPAGNA-ALAMEDA MISSION CHAPEL, 600 S. Second St., San Jose. Entombment to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
