Registration now open for ComputerCorps Tech Camp in Carson City
- May 29, 2025

ComputerCorps “Every Home ‘A’ Classroom” TechCamp returns this summer for kids to have fun and learn about computer recycling, testing, assembly and operation.
For more than twenty years ComputerCorps has organized its TechCamp for kids ages 9 to 15, where each camp participant takes home their own computer system at the end of the session which includes: a monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, DVD/RW, wireless and wired internet ready, Microsoft Windows 11 Pro and Microsoft Office Suite.
Equipping kids with the tools to understand and build computer systems in an engaging environment is not only a critical thinking activity, but also helps the community to become more computer savvy.
There are three separate TechCamps now open for enrollment, each lasting two weeks, Monday through Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. held at 4630 US Highway 50 East, Carson City, NV.
- TechCamp Alpha: June 16 – June 27
- TechCamp Bravo: July 7 – July 18
- TechCamp Charlie: July 28 – August 8
Space is limited to sixteen students in each camp. Registration is $500 for a two-week camp and includes a computer system, camp shirt and hat, graduation ceremony, and a lifetime of learning.
Some partial scholarships are available for families in need.
Call ComputerCorps at (775) 883-2323 for registration and scholarship information.
