Carson City’s Catmandu introduces Misti and Jenny, mother-daughter duo as Cats of the Week

Some cats arrive at Catmandu with a story of heartbreak, yet their hearts are wide open, Misti and her mama Jenny are just such a pair.

After the sudden passing of their human, this tiny mother-daughter duo came to us for safety. What they’ve shown us in return is pure, unconditional love.

Misti, a year-old silver-gray sweetheart, is small in stature but big in charm. With her wide amber eyes and dainty paws, she’s a graceful little shadow who plays coy until she knows you’re smitten. Then, the purrs flow freely.

Jenny, a sleek and elegant black beauty just two years old, is the grounding presence in their bond—always close to her daughter and quick to nuzzle into a welcoming hand. Together, they offer a perfect balance of sweet curiosity and soothing affection.

They love to be pet. Whether curled up together or cozied into your lap, Misti and Jenny soak up love like sunshine. They purr with joy, seek out snuggles, and bring a quiet presence into any room. They’re gentle, social, and ready to fill your home with warmth.

While they have never been around dogs or small children, they are okay with
other friendly cats. Tightly bonded, they must be adopted together.

Spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on their vaccines, Misti and Jenny are ready to go with their new family.

They’re hoping to find a loving home where they can continue their reign as queens of coziness, and hoping it happens soon. If you are looking for tiny, sweet, snuggly companions with a whole lot of heart, Misti and Jenny are perfect for you.

City. Catmandu is open for adoptions Friday – Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., but ask potential adopters to arrive no later than 3 p.m.
