Phyllis Lawson

Phyllis Wanda Lawson 81, of Bean Station, TN formerly of Pikeville, KY passed from this earthly life Thursday May 1, 2025at her home in Bean Station, TN.

Phyllis was born Sunday June 27, 1943, in Pike County, KY a daughter of the late Hi and Sophie Hale Williamson.

Phyllis was a retired Educator with the Pike County Board of Education, where she taught at Johns Creek School. She enjoyed her reading and watching old western movies with her loving husband Barry as well as listening to music Amazing Grace being her favorite song.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her mother and father, along with her children and all her siblings except one.

Phyllis is survived by her loving husband Barry Lawson of Bean Station, TN; one sister Doris Lowe of Varney Ky; along with a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly and one Special nephew; Phillip Williamson II,  in turn they loved her and affectionately call her MiMi.

Phyllis will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved her.
