Phillip John Wallgren went to be with the Lord on July 10, 2025, in his home in Menominee, MI. Phil was born in Menominee, MI, on June 30,1965, to John Wallgren and Iola Kelly. He was raised and attended school in Crivitz, WI. He married the love of his life, Stephanie (Groleau) Wallgren, on February 17, 1991. Phil worked in customer service for most of his working career and became the business owner of Aladdin Fire Services in 2019. Phil loved Jesus, his family and rock ānā roll. He played drums & sang in many bands over the years and most recently enjoyed playing drums in the worship band at Country Bible Church. For years he ran a Wednesday night basketball ministry, where he provided a space for young men and women to play ball while hearing about the good news and love of Jesus Christ. He also loved fishing, golf, cribbage, puzzles and playing with his grandbabies.
Phillip is survived by three children, his daughter, Ali (Ethan) Linstad- (children) Clara, Lauren and James; his daughter, Erin (Benjamen) Gramm- (child) Everett; his son, Ian Wallgren; his mother, Iola Kelly; his sister, Dena (Gregg) Richie- (children) Blaine and Shannon; his sister, Lisa (Martin) Duxbury and his brother, Jason (Jenny) Weiss- (children) Alexia and Devon.
Phillip was preceded in death by his wife, Stephanie (2022); his father, John (1999), his brothers, Lance (1979) and Clinton (2021) and his step-mother, Sherry (Wallgren) Huebner (2022).
A memorial service will be held at Country Bible Church in Wallace, MI, on Thursday, July 17th, at 4 pm with a visitation from 2-4 pm. Cadieu Funeral Home is assisting the Wallgren family with arrangements.
