Alton Bryant

November 17, 1950 – July 10, 2025

Alton David Bryant, 74, of New Hope, passed away Thursday.

He was preceded in death by father, Ernest Bryant; mother, Sadie Miller; sisters, Linda Reed and Anita Bryant; brother, Bobby Bryant; and son, William “Billy” Bryant.

Surviving are wife, Wilma Bryant; sisters, Jean Barecky, Carolyn Wilson, Joni Rabee, and Patricia Norell; sister-in-law, Emma (Luther) Davis; brothers, Jerry Bryant and Thomas Steele; children, Dana (Jason), Joe Jones, Vicky (Mark), Teresa (Chris), Melissa (Tony), Melissa (Willie), Stacey (Michael) deceased, and Tracey (Shane); grandchildren, Barbie, Trenton, Trevor, Addison, Bryanna, Matraca, Mark, Sonya, Christina, David, Bobby, Breanna, Trae,Waylon, Patrick, Brittney, Alton, Paisley, Chole, Cameron, and Serenity; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and lots of family and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday at 2:00 PM with Bro. Kenneth Southard officiating.

Interment will be in Green Valley Cemetery.
