Marjorie H. Edwards, Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great-Great Grandmother went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 3rd, 2025. She was 95 Years old and was surrounded by her family. Marjorie was born in Filer, Idaho on June 30, 1930 She was the eldest daughter of George and Nellie Stutzman. She eloped at 18 with her sweetheart George E. Edwards and was married on August 18, 1948, together they raised 3 children Ardith, Bill, and George Allen. She also was surrounded by some amazing Grandchildren who brightened her life Tami Hampson, Shauna Gulley

Christine McMillan, Keri Lard, and Corinne Turner. Blessed with Thirteen Great Grandchildren ~ and Four Great-Great Grandchildren. Marjorie had a great love for teaching and guiding children including being a Girl Scout Leader and mentor for other Scout Leaders, her Girl Scout camp name was “Eddy”. Later in her life she attended Yavapai College and Arizona State University where she received her degree and taught classes as an Art Teacher, Ceramics Teacher, and Geology Teacher at The Orme School and Camp in Central AZ. She had so many different adventures during her life.. She had a great love for Paleontology. She was an avid hiker and backpacker, she hiked rim to rim across the Grand Canyon multiple times, including trips to Havasupai and Granite Reef (she wore out more than one pair of hiking boots). One of the Greatest Joys in her life was her love of Square Dancing! George, who was a square dance caller, and Marge created Square Dance Clubs in Black Canyon City, Arcosanti and anywhere a group came together. They also danced all over the country at Square Dance Festivals -including more than a few times dancing on the shores of Lake Powell and Havasupai Falls knee-deep in the water “Just for Fun”. Marge was such an amazing artist- Stained Glass, Leathercraft, Drawing, Wood Carving, and her mastery of Ceramics was her passion and she loved sharing that passion with so many. Marjorie will be missed and will forever be Loved!!
