Kaine Popejoy

Kaine Gunter Popejoy, born on January 13, 1982, in Odessa, TX, USA, passed away on August 12, 2025. Kaine, a long time resident of Glen Rose, Texas, was a devoted Engineer EMT-Firefighter at the Somervell Fire Department. He is remembered for his commitment to his work and the community he served.

Kaine’s body will lie in state at the Wiley Funeral Home – Glen Rose, located at 504 Holden Street, Glen Rose, Texas, 76043, on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 12-7 pm and again on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Visitation will follow on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 6-8 pm.

A service to celebrate Kaine’s life will be held at Grace Community Church, located at 2008 Farm to Market 56, Glen Rose, Texas, 76043, on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 2:00 pm.

All services are under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home – Glen Rose.
