Maria Valentino

Maria Valentino 89, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, passed away on June 6, 2025

Maria was born in Palmerti, Catanzaro Italy to the late Francesco & Maria (Aiello) Loiacono on March 18, 1936.

Maria was the beloved wife of 48 years to the late Mario Valentino whom she married on August 18, 1954. She is survived by her sons Anthony (Mary) and Frank (JoAnne) and her 4 grandchildren Anthony, Alexandra (Pam), Frank and Jessica. She was predeceased by her brother Antonio Loiacono.

Maria loved her family and loved to cook. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and a friend to many. She will be truly missed.

The family will receive friends on Thursday June 12, 2025 from 4 pm – 8 pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel in New Rochelle. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday June 13, 2025, 10:30 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, New Rochelle. Entombment to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale NY.
