Josefina Adorable-Edman

Adoringly known as Finina by her family, and Josie by her coworkers.

She passed away on April 24, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Antonio H. Adorable, and her mother, Violeta Hermoso Adorable.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard W. Edman; her son, Antoine Caynan; her three brothers, Totits Adorable, Fritz Adorable, and Vince Adorable; their wives, Baby, Charm, and Jocel; and her stepchildren, Charlene Edman and Richard Edman.

She is also survived by many loving members of the Adorable and Hermoso families, both in the United States and the Philippines.

Josefina was born on March 19, 1956, in Baguio City, Philippines.

She completed her high school education at St. Theresa’s College Baguio and Assumption Convent Herran and went on to graduate from Assumption College San Lorenzo. After completing her studies, she embarked on a career with Philippine Airlines which allowed her to travel the world.

She moved to San Francisco and earned her degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM). After a time in retail fashion, Josefina transitioned to a career in banking, where she found her true passion – helping others.

She worked with Wells Fargo Bank for many years, with a brief tenure at Citibank, before returning to Wells Fargo, where she hoped to retire at the age of 70.

Josefina will always be remembered for her impeccable sense of style – always the most fashionable and best-dressed, whether attending mass, going to work, enjoying a dinner date, or simply running errands.

Her warmth, elegance, and loving spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Rest in peace, our beautiful angel.
