Ervin Swartwoudt

Ervin Swartwoudt, age 84, of Dundas, died Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Allina Health Faribault.

A celebration of Ervin’s life will be held at Little Prairie United Methodist Church, rural Dundas on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Ervin Earl, the son of Floyd E. and Christine M. (Dodes) Swartwoudt, was born May 20, 1940, in Northfield. He graduated from Northfield High School in 1958. Ervin married Joanne Hausen on October 21, 1961 in Faribault. He was previously employed with Breckenridge Trucking, Dundas, Fairway Foods, Northfield and Menards, Dundas. Ervin enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, shooting and tinkering on small engines.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne; sons, Scott of Montgomery, Gregg of Two Harbors and Sam of Northfield; granddaughters, Bailey, Lexie and Gracie; brother, Ronald (Barb) of Dundas.

Ervin was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Lindsey.
