Dyann O’neal

Dyann Lynn O’neal, was born on August 1, 1977, in St Louis, MO and was sent to her eternal home on July 26, 2025, in Aurora MO.

She was the beloved Daughter of Robert and Cynthia Genzler. Dydy, as she was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her. We ask that you keep the happy memories you had of her, and remember her for the profound impact she had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Dyann was survived by her loving father, Bob, her cherished husband Steven, her younger sister Becky(Scott) and her younger brother Jim (Megan).

Dyann was a cherished mother of her children Joey, Andi, Aidan, Chris, Jessica and Jennifer. Dyann was a beloved grandma to her grandchildren Roxis, Jordan, Josie, Londyn, Xyrus, Lotus, Kylie, and Claire. Dyann was also a caring Aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Dyann is preceded by her mother Cindy, her infant son Shawn, her nephew Mason, and both sets of her grandparents.

Outside of her love of being a mother and grandmother, she had an immense passion to help families afford affordable clothing within her retail store selling new and used clothing. Dyann found great joy in music and Travel, she always loved new adventures and enjoyed time with her family as often as she could. Following her passion to help others, Dyann attended and graduated top of her class to be an amazing Registered Nurse that she was incredibly proud of.

Those who knew Dyann will remember her for her infectious smile and overwhelming laughter, her deep-rooted faith in God, and her unwavering commitment to spread love and kindness to everyone she encountered. She had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.

We will be holding a memorial service to honor the life of Dyann Lynn O’neal on August 9th, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Holden Cremation and Funeral Service located at 8058 State Highway 14 East, Sparta MO.

Although Dydy’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May her memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth her legacy of love and compassion in all that we do. She will always remain in our heart, and we will miss her dearly.
