Allen Bock

Allen Bock, age 58, a lifelong resident of Dobbs Ferry, passed away at his home on July 30th2025, due to health complications.

Allen attended Dobbs Ferry schools and following graduation, he enlisted in the US Marines to serve his country. Throughout his life, he worked diligently, applying the valuable skills he acquired during his military service to his work life.

He loved boating and, up until the end, one of his favorite hobbies was fishing on the Hudson River. Additionally, he took pleasure in honing his cooking abilities and engaging in various auto and household repairs. Many affectionately referred to him as Mr. Fix-It, recognizing his readiness to assist others and find practical solutions. He was an avid Star Wars fan.

Allen is survived by his children, Hunter and Summer Bock, his sister Julie, and brothers, Edward & Martin as well as his nieces and nephews and extended family.
