His love for the Lord guided his life, and he was known for his generous spirit and willingness to help anyone in need.

Cecil loved the outdoors and cherished family gatherings where he would hold court by regaling everyone with stories. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who found joy in the simple pleasures of life and in the company of those he loved most.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Oscar “Shad” Walker and Paul Walker, and sisters, Geraldine Hunt and Marcella Perry.
