Billie Balint

Billie Jean Balint, 78, of Farmington passed away on June 10, 2025. She was born in Fairmont on January 18, 1947, a daughter of the late Robert Lee Teets and Toney Irene Garrison.

Billie is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, William F. Balint, whom she married on November 26, 1966. She is also survived by her five children: John Daniel Balint of Highland, Illinois, Robert William Balint and wife Heather of Centralia, Illinois, Debra Jean Greenly and husband Jeffrey of Farmington, Micheal Joseph Balint and wife Dawn of Silverdale, Pennsylvania, and Alexander John Seipp and wife Ashley of Rivesville; thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and two sisters: Charlotte Garrison and Kathy Eakle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several siblings.

Billie attended Farmington High School, where she graduated in 1965. She graduated from beauty school and worked as a beautician at both Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida and Bergstrom Air Force Base in Texas. She also worked at Scott Air Force Base as a bank teller for Scott Credit Union and as a cashier for the Post Exchange. After returning to West Virginia, Billie was a treasurer for the Farmington Little League for ten years in the 90’s. She loved working with the children and took care of them all.

The family would like to thank all of the staff at Guardian Healthcare for the love and excellent care that they provided to Billie. If desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Billie’s honor.

The family will receive friends at the Hutson Funeral Home, 3171 Husky Highway, Farmington on Saturday June 14, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Zinn officiating. Interment will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmington.
