Waltraut “Wally” Anneliese Bachmann born July 28, 1924 in Coburg, Germany, passed away on September 18, 2021, in Skokie, IL. Devoted mother to Ann (Shawn) O’Neill, Heidi (Andy) LeJeune, and the late Lydia Hoehn; dear grandmother to Heather (Ron) Welcing, Kelsey & Conor O’Neill, and Taylor & Dillon Balk; great grandmother to Hunter and Savanah Welcing.  We mourn the loss of Wally but celebrate her 97 years of life and the many blessings she brought to family and friends. A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave. Chicago IL from 3:00-8:00pm. A memorial mass will be held Monday, October 4, at Queen of All Saints Basilica, 6280 N Sauganash Ave, Chicago, IL  at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Montrose Cemetery.
