She was the wife of the late Luke Conrad Burrell, and at the time of his passing, they had been married for 59 years.  Virginia was also preceded in death by two sisters, Tulan Solomon and Elizabeth Ratliff; one brother, Augustus Cagle; and one son, Timothy Burrell.

Virginia was blessed with six children, and is survived by five children, Deborah Burrell Farmer, Pamela Mann, Kathie McPeters and her husband, Billy, David Burrell and Scott Burrell and his wife Jennifer; eighteen grandchildren, Jerry McKee, Jennifer Farmer, Kyle Farmer, Melissa Hamrick, Eric Hamrick (deceased), Lisa Conner, Cassie Phillips, Angela Burrell, D.J. McPeters, Kenneth Solomon (deceased), Colton Owens, Rosie Shope, Kenny Shope, Steven Burrell, Virginia Burrell, Robbie Barnwell (deceased) and Michael Barnwell; nineteen great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

In her lifetime, she raised many children throughout the family.  She was a truck driver with her husband and a housewife who loved to sew, being a grandma to everyone, and absolutely loved family time.  The best mother in the world, Virginia was a member of Victory Tabernacle Church in East Flat Rock and was a member of Eastern Star.  She was a Christian who loved the Lord. We could not have ordered a better mother, and one thing is for sure, we all were privileged to have had her in our lives and thank God for her.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 10th, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
