Steve Alton Duncan, Sr. “Papa”
November 24, 1939 – January 27, 2023
On January 27, 2023, the family of Steve Duncan, Sr., not only lost a father, grandfather, great grandfather but the role model of their family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Good Shepherd Anglican Church 3601 Fall Creek Hwy., Granbury, Texas 76049 on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 1:00 – 4:00 pm,  in the Parish Hall.

Steve was born on November 24, 1939 in Texarkana, Texas to Joe and Willie Mae Duncan. Steve was a member of the Masonic Lodge and retired as owner of Burleson Pipe and Steel. He was always busy whether being a business man, playing golf, playing gin or watching baseball. His favorite pastime was spending time with his wife, family and friends. Steve was such a welcoming face to everyone he let into his life or home. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Lisa and wife Christine.

Steve is survived by his children, Veronica Barber and her husband Earl, Kevin Duncan and his wife Adrianna, Steve Duncan, Jr. and his wife Jewelleene, and Jennifer Duncan along with 13 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
