Ruth Sibrava, nee Metelski, 94, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Robert A. Sibrava. Loving mother to Christine (the late William Garner) and Nancy (Len) Koenen. Dear grandmother to Andrew (Rusty) Kneeland and Jessica Garner. Proud great-grandmother to Zoey. Cherished Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Ruth will be missed by many friends and family. She was a Chicago native and successful business woman who was compassionate and giving to all in her family. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 10 from 3-8pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine IL 60067. Funeral Friday, February 11th from Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home at 9am to St. Matthew Catholic Parish, 1001 E. Schaumburg Rd., Schaumburg, IL  60194 for a funeral mass at 10am.
