Ronnie Dale Corpening

Ronnie was born August 15, 1953, in Fletcher, North Carolina, to parents William Howard and Betty Jean (Allison) Corpening. Ronnie graduated from Ravenna High School in 1972 and worked for Myers Home Service for over 32 years. He was a lifelong Cleveland Browns fan and also enjoyed fishing.

Ronnie is survived by his beloved wife Carmella (Parson), whom he married November 14, 1971. Also surviving are his children: Ron Corpening and Steve (Candy) Corpening, his grandchildren: Steven, Tyler, Kayla, Christina, Josh, RJ, Destiny, and Hannah, his great-grandchildren: Zoie, Nicholas, and Aiden, as well as his sisters: Dorothy Wheatley and Joann (Dan) Hudson.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and his brother William Corpening.

Friends and family will be received Friday, July 23, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Ronnie will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hendersonville, NC, at 11am on Tuesday, July 27, 2021; a public visitation will be held in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home one hour prior. Rev. Harry Wagner will officiate.
