Sophie Barzelis, 98, of Chicago and Florida, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Stephen. Loving mother to Maria Denise Person and the late Nicholas. Caring grandmother to Blair (William) Stiles, Alexander and Theodore. Doting great-grandmother to Willis and Remy. Cherished sister of Dee Kradis and the late Nick (Mary) and Peter (Sophie). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 23 at Noon at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 350 E Dempster St, Des Plaines, IL 60016. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
