Ronald M. Karpowicz

Ronald M. Karpowicz, of Chicago passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 10. Beloved husband of Vivian, nee Castro, for over 29 wonderful years. Loving uncle dad of Sara. Ron had a successful career in sales at NCS Single Source, and the automotive paint industry for decades. He was an avid Blackhawks fan, had a sense of humor that lit up any room and an outlook on life which embodied living life to the fullest no matter what. He leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends who were always entertained by his wonderful stories and witty banter. He truly brought the life to the party. Ron is survived by his sister Barbara (Dennis) Oles, brothers Dan and Michael, and countless nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Sunday, October 17 at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave. Chicago IL from 3:00-8:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held Monday October 18, at Queen of All Saints Basilica, 6280 N. Sauganash Ave. Chicago IL at 10:00 am.
