Ricky Cottrell

Ricky Cottrell, of Dover, passed away early Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at the age of 68 after a period of declining health.

Ricky was born in Ivydale, West Virginia on November 21, 1953 to the late Brooks Cottrell and Bessie (Frame) Cottrell.

Ricky loved music and could often be found playing music.  He was also an avid collector of many different trinkets. He was especially proud of his large baseball card collection.  Ricky worked hard all of his life at various jobs.  He retired from installing home siding.

Ricky is survived by his companion for over 30 years, Barbara Capalingo.

In addition to his parents, Ricky is preceded in death by his brother, James Cottrell; and sister, Linda Newell.

Family and Friends are invited to gather on Monday, January 24, 2022, in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia from 4:00 to 7:00pm.  In being respectful for all in attendance, mask are requested.
