Richard “Rick” Patterson

Richard “Rick” Patterson, 69, of Mills River, NC passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Memorial Mission Hospital. Rick was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Monroe and Fay Patterson, who proceeded him in death along with his brothers, Ken and Barry Patterson.

Rick was the owner and operator of Best Drywall for many years. He enjoyed going deep sea fishing, golfing, spending time with his family and grilling out.

He is survived by his loving wife of 19yrs, Kim Patterson; sons, Nathan Patterson (Brittany) and Brian Patterson; stepsons, Michael Paris (Patti) and Bryan Paris (Mendy); grandchildren, Colbi Paris, Haley Peek, Heath Paris, Hunter Paris and Taren Tyler; sisters, Sue Hudson, Jeanette Moody (Warren) and Shirley Laughter (Dale).

A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Thursday, October 7, 2021 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Eric Hudson officiating.
