Paulinda Kay Proffitt, 68, passed away at her home in Granbury with her family at her side on Saturday, December 24,2022. She was born August 22,1954 in Cleburne, Texas to Frank and Helen Pipes Young.
Paulinda attended the Triple Cross Cowboy Church in Granbury via their website. She loved fishing and enjoyed camping and RVing.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Deleta Austin of Early, TX.
She is survived by her husband of (50) years, Rodney Proffitt of Granbury; her son, David Proffitt of Granbury; granddaughter, Elizabeth Proffitt, and spouse Callie Proffitt of Granbury; brother, Jeff Young and wife Virginia of Cleburne; brother-in-law, Dennis Austin of Early, TX.; mother-in-law, Bernice Proffitt of Granbury; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and countless friends and other extended family members.
Visitation will be from 6pm. to 8pm. Wednesday, December 28,2022 at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
Funeral services will be held at 10am. Thursday, December 29,2022 in Wiley Funeral Home Chapel in Granbury with graveside services following at Hico Cemetery in Hico, Texas under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home of Granbury.
