Paul J Hershberger

Paul J. Hershberger, 69, of Fredericktown, Ohio, passed away at his home on Friday, July 9, 2021, after a period of declining health. He was born on June 6, 1952, to the late John and Bena (Miller) Hershberger. On October 23, 1975, he married Mary D. Gingerich. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife are 13 children; Laura (Allen) Gingerich of New Parish, OH, Susie (Simon) Brenneman of Woodhull, NY, Jonas (Malinda) Hershberger of Fredericktown, John (Anna) Hershberger of Troupsburg, NY, Dannie (Charydin) Hershberger of McArthur, OH, Amanda (Dannie) Troyer of Eaton, OH, Edward (Vernie) Hershberger of Fredericktown, Perry (Laura) Hershberger of Fredericktown, Junior (Anna) Hershberger of the home, Polly Hershberger of the home, Jacob (Clara) Hershberger of Fredericktown, Samuel (Nancy) Hershberger of Fredericktown, and Rudy Hershberger of the home; 62 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Leanna H. (Yoder) Hershberger; his parents; stepmother; and a brother-in-law.

Funeral services will be held at the Hershberger home, 21061 Lanning Rd., Fredericktown, OH, on Monday, July 12, 2021, with Bishop Lewis E. Brenneman officiating. Burial will take place at Garber Cemetery.
