Nicholas “Nick” Bixler

Nicholas “Nick” Bixler, 38, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2022 at his home. He was born October 18, 1983, in Springfield, the son of Ronald Patrick and Tracy (Crawford) Bixler.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his daughter, Rylee Bixler of Springfield; son, Kylor Bixler and his mother, Ashley Brown of New Berlin; mother, Tracy Bixler of Springfield; two sisters, Lizzie Bixler of Springfield and Brittany Williams, both of Springfield; niece, Mycah Weir; nephew John Wier; several aunts and uncles and several cousins including Matt (Linnea) Richards.

Nick was an amazing cook. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He loved spending time with his son and best buddy, Kylor.

Cremation will be accorded by Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Nick’s family will be hosting a celebration of life from 12 – 6 pm, Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Tom Madonia Park West, Springfield, IL.
