Nicholaos John Papadopoulos, age 86 , of Chicago and formerly of Steno, Greece. Loving husband to Vasiliki, nee Bay, Papadopoulos for 50 wonderful years. Devoted father to John (Tina) Papadopoulos, Rania (Robert) Ruby, Maria (Evan) Regopoulos, and Christina (John) Floros. Cherished Pappou to Emily, Nikki, Nicholas, Andy, Matt, Billie, Liana, Stathi, Niko, Spirako, Selia, Nikolaki, Saki, and Vasilaki. Dear brother to Nikiforos (Sofia) Pappas, and Kostas (Vaso) Papadopoulos. A beloved uncle, cousin and friend to many. Nick’s family was his biggest accomplishment and source of pride. He touched so many lives and his legacy lives on in those that love him. May his memory be eternal.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy. Palatine IL. from 4:00-7:00pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 29, at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 133 S Roselle Rd, Palatine, IL at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines.
