Marilyn “Lynn” P. Van Tassell

Marilyn “Lynn” P. Van Tassell, 86, of Hendersonville, NC passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022.

Lynn was born in Milwaukee, WI on August 30, 1935, to the late Edwin Janke and Hazel Dawson Janke.  Lynn is also preceded in death by her son, Jamie Van Tassell.

Lynn graduated from Rufus King High School in Milwaukee, WI, moving to Florida and then finally retiring to Hendersonville, NC.  She worked as an office worker for many years before becoming a homemaker full-time.

Lynn’s family was her main passion.  She was a dedicated wife,  mom, and gramma.  She also enjoyed cooking, crafts, and walks.

Lynn is survived by her husband of 60 years, John M. Van Tassell; Son, Steven Van Tassell and daughter, Jodi Roviello (Frank) of Hendersonville, NC; and grandchildren, Shelby Roviello Collins (Cody) and Harley Roviello.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
