Linda Lou english

Linda Lou English, 72, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, of Granbury, went to be with her Lord and Savior early on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at her home.

Cremation has taken place and all services will be held privately in Brownfield Texas on March 11,2023.  The family will share with friends plans for a future Celebration of Life ceremony in Granbury Texas.

Linda was born on January 2, 1951, in Bennington, Oklahoma to Simon and Ruby Stowe.  On June 15, 1992, she married Lennie English. She was a person of strong faith and always provided love and support to her family and friends. Most of all, Linda will be remembered as the ‘glue’ which held her family together. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her children, Renee Thornton, Carol Lynn and husband Randy Lancaster, and Scott and wife Misty Hathaway; her grandchildren, Ashley Thornton, Amanda Thornton, Clint Thornton and Clay and wife Alisha Thornton, Jeremy Lancaster, Aaron Edwards, and Trinity Hathaway and many great-grandchildren. Brothers Wayne Stowe and wife Regina, Marty Stowe, and wife Tracy. Sisters Gloria Tidwell and Sue Tye.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Lennie English and by numerous brothers and sisters. In lieu of flowers, donate to your favorite charity in her name.
