Legendary Old Mill track and field coach Ron Evans, who won 20 state championships, dies at 79
Ron Evans, one of the most successful high school track and field coaches in state history, died April 3 from complications related to Alzheimer’s Disease. Evans directed track and field teams to 20 state championships during a 28-year career at Arundel and Old Mill.
