Lee Roy Tidwell
Lee Roy Tidwell, 80, passed away on Friday; October 22, 2021 in Fort Worth. He was born November 3, 1940 in Tolar, Texas to James V. and Leona Smith Tidwell. Lee Roy was a member of the Granbury Church of Christ and was very involved in different church activities. He was also a volunteer for the Center of Hope in Weatherford. Lee Roy was a committed family man who took care of and loved his family dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sharon Tidwell; son, Vince Tidwell and wife Penny; daughter, Melissa McClure and husband David; four grandsons, Austin Tidwell and wife Kerry, Eric Tidwell and wife Kalli, Lance McClure and Ty McClure; brother, Marvel Tidwell and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11am to 12pm, Friday, October 29, 2021 at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury with graveside services following at 12:30pm, Friday, October 29, 2021 at Holly Hills Memorial Park in Granbury.
