Julie K. Geisel

Julie K. Geisel, 62, of Lucas, Ohio passed away at her home on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. She was born in Mansfield, Ohio on November 15, 1959 to Robert E. Lomax Jr. and Suzie (Moore) Marcucci.

Julie graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Ashland University College. She worked in the accounting field for several businesses in the Mansfield area. Julie married Jeff Geisel and her greatest love was family gatherings. During her life, she enjoyed reading, gardening and fishing with her father and sons. She also enjoyed going to the beach and passed on her love for the beach and water to her sons.

Julie is survived by her sons, Christopher (Kylie) Geisel and Daine (Kyle) Barron; mother, Suzie Marcucci; brothers, R.E. “Chip” (Dawn) Lomax III and Frank (Eugene) Marcucci III; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Lomax Jr. and step-mother, Reba Lomax; and step-father, Frank Marcucci.

Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 106 W. Main St., Lucas, Ohio 44843. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
