Jesse James Brooks

Jesse James Brooks, age 77, went home to be with the Lord on October 3, 2021. Jesse is survived by his children, Rhonda Edwards(Robert), Robin Brooks-Mitchell (Donaldo VIII) and Felicia Shipp; siblings, Mary Earl Brooks-White, David Richard Brooks and Rosie Lee Brooks-Hines; grandchildren, Robert Edwards Jr., Roddrick Edwards, Donaldo Mitchell IX., Daijah Mithcell, David Harshely Jr., Natalya Harshely and Dashawn Davis; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jesse is the son of the late, Willie Earl and Rosie Dunlap-Brooks. He is also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marcia Brooks; siblings, Willie Frank Brooks, Curtis Brooks, Roosevelt Brooks, John Elbert Brooks and Charlie Earl Brooks; 1 great-grandson, Ashton J. Sain-Mitchell.
