- October 28, 2021
Jennifer Lorraine Wheeler Alexander was born December 18, 1971. Her proud parents were Harry and Betty Wheeler (Washington, PA). In her early years she was a member of Nazareth Baptist Church (Washington, PA) along with her parents.
She was a graduate of Washington High School (Washington, PA) in 1988. Jennifer was an outstanding majorette representing her school at sporting events. She was a graduate of Slippery Rock University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Health Administration.
Troy always said, “the day he met Jennifer it changed his life forever.” They were married on May 13, 1995. After their wedding they made Cleveland, Ohio their home, and to their union they were blessed with Justice and Loghan.
Jennifer was a valued employee at Progressive Insurance Company for over 25 years. She held the position of Quality Assurance Lead and she was pursuing her Project Management certification with the company. Jennifer followed her caring spirit and majored in nursing, at Cuyahoga Community College.
She graduated and passed the State of Ohio’s licensing boards to become a registered nurse. Jennifer was known for her warm heart and radiant smile. She left a positive impression with anyone she encountered. She took pride in her family and her home. She loved to shop and decorate. Jennifer found joy in planning and going on vacations to the beach and cruises.
She is survived by her husband, (Henry) Troy; son, Justice; daughter, Loghan; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and colleagues. She was preceded in transition by her parents, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
