Jack London

Aaron “Jack” London, 76 died Sunday, December 12, 2021 at The Elizabeth House.  A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, he was a son of the late Ernest London and Ollie Gibbs Owens.  He was also preceded in death by his brother David London in January of this year.

Jack graduated from East Henderson High School, and then served in the US Navy.  He was a Master Electrician and longtime employee of General Electric, retiring in 1995.  Jack attended the Salvation Army church.

Surviving are his children Leslie Padgett, Lisa Phillips, Aaron Todd London, and Patricia Bennett and husband Robert, all of Hendersonville; six grandchildren Natasha Nielsen and husband Dustin, DJ Padgett, Elizabeth Moore, Virginia Alston, Kaitlyn Owens and husband Josh and Andrew Bennett; and his three great-grandchildren Sean and Jaiden Moore and Madilyn Owens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Four Seasons Hospice, 571 S. Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
