Elaine Kuffell

Elaine Kuffell, nee Thoma, age 85. Resident of Grayslake, and formerly of Chicago, passed away May 5, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Robert Kuffell. Loving and devoted mother to Stephen, Michael (Angela), Donald (Grace), and Carol (David) Seeger. Cherished and proud grandmother to Stephanie (Ryan) Coomer, Courtney (Randy) Hays, Brent (Becky), Amanda (Adam), Erik, Dylan, Lindsey, Matthew (Sarah), Megan, Kevin, William, Daniel, and Julia. Adored great grandmother to McKenzie, Kayden, Raelyn, Madison, Robert, Martin, and one on the way. Loving cousin, aunt and friend to many. As a homemaker for most of her adult life, Elaine raised her family and supported her children’s every endeavor.  Within her community she volunteered and touched the lives of many. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, https://www.stjude.org. A visitation will be held Thursday May 13, at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave. Chicago IL., from 4:00-8:00pm. A mass will be held Friday, May 14 at St. Hilary Church at St. Padre Pio Parish, at 11:00am. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
