Duane W. Carter

Duane W. Carter, age 59 of Hendersonville, North Carolina, went to be with the Lord on July 23, 2021.  He was the son of the late Neil McRae Carter and Yvonne J. Carter.  He is preceded in death by his brother, Charles Alan Carter.

Duane (Steve) carter was a wonderful husband and father.  He graduated from West High and worked at General Electric in Flat Rock for 18 years.  He was a volunteer for the VIP at the sheriff’s department for 3 years.

Duane is survived by his wife, Tammey Carter and children Michael Carter, Amber Carter and Steven Carter and nephew Aaron Carter.  He has a brother, Dana Carter and his wife Sarah Carter. There are 2 grandchildren as well, Logan (7) and Duane (5).

He was under the care of Four Seasons Hospice for the last three months.  I would like to thank their staff for all their help and support during this time.
