Dora Charlene Doan

Dora Charlene Doan, 90, was born June 20th, 1931 in San Angelo, TX. to the Reverend John Richard “Pop” Aaron and Gwendolyn Marie “Ree” Hill. Dora married Chester William Doan of Hayes, KS. on January 10, 1975

Dora loved the Lord and her family with all her heart.  She was a member of CenterPoint Church in Granbury, TX.  She loved church, playing games with the family, watching her “shows” and working puzzles on her computer.  She was very talented and had many hobbies over her lifetime.  Dora also loved animals of all kinds and never met a stranger.  She was truly loved by everyone she met.

Dora had 5 children; Jerry Davis and spouse Brenda Davis of Granbury, TX.  Michael and spouse Janet Williamson of Denham Springs, LA.  Pam Doan Roye and spouse Robert of Waxahachie, TX.  Alan Doan of Waxahachie, TX.

17 grandchildren; Kevin Robinson of Lefors, TX. Michael Davis of Sulphur, LA.  Brenna Davis Smith and spouse Robert of Willis, TX.  Shannon Robinson and spouse Stephanie of Orlando, FL.  Travis Robinson of Granbury, TX.  Benjamin and spouse Siru Roye of Round Rock, TX.  Carson and spouse Chasity Roye of Mansfield, TX.  Alysann Roye Rutan and spouse Brock of Waxahachie, TX.  Natalie Roye of Ft. Worth, TX.  Lucy and Payne Roye of Waxahachie, TX.  Brad Day from Denham Springs, LA.  Shawn Williamson from Baton Rouge, LA.  Megan Lacroix and spouse Gary LaCroix of Baton Rouge, LA. Shannon Babin and spouse Damon of Baton Rouge, LA.  Rainey Landry of New Orleans, LA.  and Kalyn Landry of Ethel, LA.

17 great grandkids, 8 great-great grandkids and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents Dora is proceeded in death by two husbands; James William Davis and Colon Williamson, a son Johnny Williamson, two brothers, Donald and Charles Aaron.

Funeral will be officiated by Pastor Kevin Spencer at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury, TX.  on Sunday February 6, 2022 at 2PM. Viewing is Saturday February 5, 2022 from 4-6 PM. Graveside 2pm, Tuesday, February 8, 2022, Merriman Cemetery, Ranger, Texas
