Diana Asencio

Diana Asencio, (née Garcia) 58, passed away peacefully late Sunday night, April 18, 2021.
Diana was the beloved wife of Jorge Asencio, to whom she was married for over 30 years. Diana was the loving mother of Mario and Erika Asencio. She is survived by her brothers, Luis (Donald) and Adrian (Blanche) Garcia.
Diana was a graduate of St. Scholastica Academy and Loyola University Chicago. She worked for Walgreens Corporation for over 35 years. She was an active parishoner at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Parish and was involved in many school and athletic activities. She had a passion for coaching and playing volleyball.

There will be a memorial service for Diana on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 1pm at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. There will be a sign up link soon. For those not able to attend, in person, a video conferencing link will be provided.
