Dean Ellis Branyon
- January 21, 2022
Dean Ellis Branyon, 74, of Mills River, passed away at home on January 18, 2022.
Dean was loved by all who knew him. He worked for Lowes for many years as a customer service representative, and he was a dedicated member of Maple Hill Baptist Church. His work and his church family were very important to him, and he will truly be missed.
Dean is survived by his wife of 15 years, Shirley Phelps Branyon; his daughter, Joy Ryan; his step-daughter Therese Gordon; his step-sons Jimmy Burrel and Shawn Young; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Maple Hill Baptist Church.
Due to extenuating circumstances and Dean’s sudden, unexpected passing, the family was not emotionally or financially prepared for his loss. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to his memorial fund so that his loved ones will have the necessary resources to deal with some of the financial burdens which they will certainly face in the upcoming weeks and months ahead. If you can give, please click the link below and if you are unable to contribute, please share so that others may be made aware of this worthy cause.
