Janet Ann Holden

Janet Ann Holden, 84, of Hendersonville was reunited with her husband, Philip, on January 16, 2022. She was born in Vergennes, Vermont, to the late Earl Henry Swenor and Ramona Lovisa Smith Swenor.

Jan loved her family and friends. Her home was known for being full of love, laughter, hors d’oeuvres and wine! She enjoyed traveling and was fortunate to have been able to see the world on her many cruises with family and friends. Jan also enjoyed playing games- especially cards (Bridge, King Pede, Golf, Spite, Malice and many more); impressing others with her knowledge of the rules to any game she ever played. Another of her many passions was crafting! Anyone who has ever had the honor of meeting Jan had been gifted with one of her original greeting cards, interesting jewelry, and in most recent years…gnomes!

Jan was a wonderful mother and wife; she will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish Jan’s memory are her loving children Cathi Holden (Robin), Lori Pearce (Greg) and Nanci Brocker (Greg); beloved grandchildren Steven Brodie (Paula), Mark Holden (Cody); Jocelyn Pearce; Ethan Pearce (Heaven); Max Pearce (Abigail); great-grandson Liam Brodie; and extended family Johnny Haynes and Keiko Ikegami.

No services have been planned at this time.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Four Seasons Compassion for Life: Hospice or a charity of their choice.
