David Joseph Longenberger
David Longenberger of Granbury Texas passed on April 29, 2023, to his eternal rest and is now with his wife Judy Longenberger of 42 years and son, Wade Longenberger.
David passed with both his daughters at each hand, surrounded by family and the excellent staff at Medical City in Ft Worth.
He is survived by brother Donald Longenberger, son Alan Longenberger, daughters Jill Dobelbower, and Sandra Steward.
Grandchildren: Ryan Dobelbower, Hannah Steward, and Jordyn Steward
He was born November 8th, 1940, and stayed in Beaumont to get his engineering degree at Lamar. He continued to work at various nuclear plants until he landed in Granbury in 1983 where he stayed to raise his family.
David worked as an engineer and may be one of the smartest men you will ever meet and one of the best conversions you could experience, but mostly he is an example of someone who put family first.
He loved crossword puzzles, music and doting over his grandchildren.
Services will be held at Wily Funeral Home at 2pm, Saturday, May 13, 2023, 400 Hwy 377 East Granbury, TX 76048.
