Damian Nunez

Damian Nunez, age 23 of Plano, IL passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 19, 2021 due to an automobile accident. He was born on May 6, 1998 in Aurora, IL the son of Humberto and Francisca (Diaz) Nunez.

Damian was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Plano, IL. He was employed as a finance manager for the Gerald KIA dealership in North Aurora, IL. Damian was very much a people person with a great smile. He had a great love for life, family and friends.

Damian was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin who will be deeply missed by his family and many, many friends.

Damian is survived by his parents, Humberto and Francisca Nunez of Plano, IL; his siblings, Maria Del Carmen Nunez, Humberto Nunez Jr., and Angel Adan Nunez all of Plano, IL; his paternal grandmother, Lucia Garcia of Plano, IL; his maternal grandmother, Hijia Diaz of CA; also many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Humberto Nunez and his maternal grandfather, Jesus Diaz.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 1001 North Center Avenue, Plano, IL. Interment will follow in the Little Rock Township Cemetery in Plano, IL.

Friends may visit from 3:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday, December 20, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1010 West South Street, Plano, IL.
