Clara  Killinger

Clara Killinger, 85, of Mansfield, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Born July 9, 1936, she was the daughter of Harry and Edith (Kurtz) Osborne.

Clara was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and worked for many years as a telephone operator for Ohio Bell and Sprint. A very hard worker, she worked well past retirement. Clara was an avid reader and most enjoyed Danielle Steele books. She enjoyed playing games especially Farkle and Skip-Bo and was a dog lover. Clara was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Dallas Cowboys – especially Troy Aikman.

Clara was a very loving person and would always put everyone’s needs above her own. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Kim (Preston) Wyatt of Texas; her unofficial grandson, Jared Mack of Mansfield; her brother, Duane (Marty) Osborne and family of Arizona; her nieces and nephews of Mansfield, Rita (David) Falquette, Kay (Mark) Zartman, Walt (Mary Ann) Killinger and Cindy (Norbert) Eichenauer of Germany; numerous great nieces and nephews; and her faithful companion, her dog Ricky.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Floyd “Ozzie” Osborne and Sara J. Gruver who was like a mother.

As per Clara’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
