Carl Rector Levi

Carl Rector Levi, age 84, of East Flat Rock, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on the morning of Sunday, December 26, 2021 at his residence with loved ones at his side.  A native of Henderson County, North Carolina, born on May 09, 1937, he was the son of the late Rector and Lucy Thompson Levi.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Pat Levi, and Faye Owens.

A loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, Carl enjoyed spending quality time with his family and going on road trips.  He was a member of Tuxedo First Baptist Church.

Carl is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Shirley Williams Levi; three children, Coletta Levi Ward (Robert), Michael Keith Levi, Sr. (Ann) and Becky Levi Kalkas (Michael); seven grandchildren, who thought the world of him, Andrea, Brad, Ben, Katy, Michael, Keith, and Mark; and three amazing great-grandchildren, Isaac, Rowan and Harper Ann.  He is also survived by one brother, Jack Levi (Bessie), one uncle, Homer Levi; one aunt, Willa Mae Boone; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A private graveside service will be held.
