Brenda J. Staley
Brenda J. Staley, 77, of Springfield passed away on August 20, 2022. She was born on September 8, 1944 in Evansville, IN to Samuel and Nola (Scudamore) Higginson and they preceded her in death. She married Larry Staley on January 29, 1966 and he survives.
She is also survived by four children: Marc (Katey) Staley of Rochester, Eric (Amy) Staley of Springfield, Stacia (Zach) Spraetz of Rochester, Steven (Yelitza) Staley of Osprey, FL, seven grandchildren: Sam, Lula, Anna, Piper, Tucker, Ryder and Nataley, one sister, Ronda Gualdoni of Mt. Vernon and niece, Sharri Gifford.
Brenda was a homemaker who loved baking, traveling and doting on her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Dennis Gualdoni and sister, Judy Higginson.
The family will host a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
